Clas got involved with the company in conjunction with the acquisition by Zia Holdings in 2007. He has extensive experience in domestic and international business in general and the Door and Hardware Industry in particular. During ten years he built the ASSA ABLOY operations in North and South America from 300 employees and $30 million in revenue to 10,000 employees and $1.1 billion in revenue. Clas has also substantial hands-on experience in turning businesses around and working hands-on to develop manufacturing operations.
Greg has joined us the General Manager in July 2018 to succeed Ron Gonzales. With more than 30 years of operational experience in the hollow metal industry, Greg has worked for companies like ACME Steel, Long Island Firedoor, Abco Firedoor and Zulu Fire Door. He was raised in Oklahoma but has spent all his career in the New York City area.
Jonas is running the administration of the company and is responsible for the day to day financial function. Additionally, he is handling all shipping. Jonas has a BS in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Rhode Island and joined the company in May 2018 when he moved from Connecticut where he had worked for a large mortgage company.
Brittan has been appointed Lead Engineer, she has been with the company since 1995. Her initial focus was scheduling, shop drawings and other manufacturing documentation. Over the years, she has been involved in estimating and sales but is now back to focus all her energy on the engineering side, which is her favorite.
Robert has been with Rocky Mountain Metals for two years, latest as a turret press operator.
He has an associates degree in Applied Science and have been working for ADT Security with service and sales. Robert has also been running his own flooring business before he joined Rocky Mountain Metals.
In his new position as Sales Manager, Jae has taken over the responsibility for all sales activities at Rocky Mountain Metals. He joined the company in 2016. Jae has extensive experience of construction as he has been operating his own remodeling business for 18 years. He has also worked as an office manager for Big Snowy Resources, an exploration drilling company.
Chris is responsible for the overall management on the shop floor. He is also handling production planning as well as recruitment of shop personnel. Chris has been with Rocky Mountain Metals since 1998 and has during his time with the company been involved in all aspects of the manufacturing of hollow metal doors and frames.
