Clas got involved with the company in conjunction with the acquisition by Zia Holdings in 2007. He has extensive experience in domestic and international business in general and the Door and Hardware Industry in particular. During ten years he built the ASSA ABLOY operations in North and South America from 300 employees and $30 million in revenue to 10,000 employees and $1.1 billion in revenue. Clas has also substantial hands-on experience in turning businesses around and working hands-on to develop manufacturing operations.
As General Manager, Ron is responsible for the day to day operation of the company. He has been with Rocky Mountain Metals since 1989 and has a very strong production background. Ron has been instrumental in the development of the floor operations over the years and, under his leadership, a number of changes has been implemented to support future growth.
Melanie is running the administration of the company and is also responsible for the day to day financial function. Additionally, she is handling all shipping. She joined the company in 2016 and has extensive office management and administrative experience from among other companies, Discount Steel, Inc. in Texas.
Larry joined Rocky Mountain Metals in 2014. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience from the Door Hardware and Hollow Metal industry. During his career he has been responsible for shop operations, training in estimating, detailing and project management. Larry has also been handling outside sales to architects, builders and owners as well as negotiated purchasing programs with vendors.
Estimating and Engineering
Brittan has been with the company since 1995. Her initial focus was scheduling, shop drawings and other manufacturing documentation. Her responsibility has over the years expanded into estimating and sales. She has a strong following from her customers in all areas.
Jae joined the company in 2016. He is responsible for all estimating and sales in one of our biggest sales territories. Jae has extensive experience of construction as he has been operating his own remodeling business for 18 years. He has also worked as an office manager for Big Snowy Resources, an exploration drilling company.
Chris is responsible for the overall management on the shop floor. He is also handling production planning as well as recruitment of shop personnel. Chris has been with Rocky Mountain Metals since 1998 and has during his time with the company been involved in all aspects of the manufacturing of hollow metal doors and frames.
